A great family trip
suitable for all ages.
A great ride along the
very scenic Slocan River. This old rail line is a great off road
trip for the whole family. It is dead flat. We start the driving out
to Crescent Valley approx a 20 min drive from Nelson. The trail head
is right across the road from Frog Peak
Restaurant. (Great Coffee Stop) Once unloaded and ready we head up the
Slocan valley
towards the small community of Winlaw and lunch at a great little
restaurant/coffee shop "Sleep is for Sissies. After lunch we can either turn around
and head back or
carry on to Slocan City located on the shores of Slocan Lake at
which time we take the van back to Nelson.
Included in this trip is lunch, transportation from Nelson, two guides, and a whole lot of local
knowledge.
